Applications being accepted for positions on the San Antonio Bike Share Board of Directors

    SAN ANTONIO (September 14, 2018) – The City of San Antonio is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals who are eligible to serve on the San Antonio Bike Share Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of nine (9) members, three (3) of which are separately 1 year, 2 year, and 3 year terms will be appointed by the Mayor and City Council to oversee all business operations related to San Antonio’s Bike Share program. 

     Board members work to create a strategic long-term vision for the success of SWell Cycle in San Antonio while ensuring the program’s financial sustainability. The mission of the San Antonio Bike Share is to inspire the community to use SWell Cycle as a simple solution for health and environmentally-friendly transportation.

     Those interested in applying may do so online using the City’s web-based application for boards and commission at https://webapp9.sanantonio.gov/BoardCommApplication/vacancies.  The deadline to submit an application is Monday, October 1, 2018.
